Looking after the health and welfare of the children within the setting and making sure that all their care needs are met
I have learnt a large array of skills to be able to use within in day to day part of my job and also the reasons behind why we do things
I throughly enjoyed what I was doing and what I learn
Really well organised. The zoom sessions were set out well and very informative and my assessor was very knowledgeable and helpful
My employer and management team were very supportive gave me time to complete my work and to be able to attend the sessions needed to be able to complete the work. Also supported doing my observation.
I had regular meetings with my assessor who helped me with any questions I may have had. If I needed support between these sessions she was always contactable and replied quick and prompt. Always made an effort to give prior notice of any holiday and who to contact when she was away. Always made her working days and hours clear
It has helped me to develop the skills and knowledge I need to be able to take a step up on the qualification ladder and to be able to take on more responsibilities within the setting. It’s also helped me to understand why we do certain things within the setting and what its importance is
