I work alongside the dentist in surgery assisting them with roles including: the mixing of materials, infection control, caring for the patient, decontamination of the instruments etc.
I have learned a widge range of new information whilst on this apprenticship, from the anatomy of the mouth to standards of the gdc
i am wanting to progress further into hygiene by the influence of this course, it has made me realise i enjoy dentistry.
despite changes being made, i fins the system very easy to use.

They vocational coaches that are available to contact whenever you need and they get back to you quickly. the system is easy to use and the textbooks that are given are well structured and easy to locate/ submit. The tutors that teach the units are very informative and involving.
try to stay on top of your work in the time given so you dont fall behind
