Residential children's support worker Review

To care and respect all young people and to protect and safeguard them. To help with personal feelings listen to their individual needs. To help with contact with family and be their individual keyworker and help to be their voice. To help with finances help with clothing and personal care.

I have learnt a lot of new things to help me in my role, like how to safeguard and document any issues, how to contact relevant professionals, I have learnt how to complete daily tasks.

I am enjoying the programme and always learn new things.

My employer is a very good support network and always at my assistance if I need them.

It has been a little difficult as I have had two different tutors and just been assigned with a new one so hopefully this will now settle things.

It gives me better knowledge of the requirements of my job role. It also helps me to understand how to put my learning into practice.

We are involved in the young peoples activities such as a yearly sports day, yearly holidays such as primrose valley, and also weekly activities such as walking nature trails beach walks, bowling, go carting and many more.
