i go round to different departments for a few weeks and learn what they do, im currently learning about test cells, project management, 3D CAD and PLC programing
I have learnt tons of skills improved my confidence with knowledge and learnt alot of different software and things about and for Cummins.
im currently really enjoying my placements im always busy and learn so much
it is really well structured i have a Rota which sends me around the departments for a couple weeks and have a review meeting every 2-3 weeks
I receive a lot of support due to my reviews im always able to speak to someone and other people round the shop floor too
a lot ive had issues and spoken about them and its been sorted and worked on
it makes me understand more of the subject and if there's something i struggle with in lesson and at work i can ask the provider and find out the solution
they have ping pong table outside and also sometimes do events
Yes
its a well run company which knows how to treat you and support you, and they will provide anything you need whether you need to learn it or want to learn it.
good luck
