I rotate to different areas every 3 months for most of the 4 years, I help out in the teams i am in during my rotation.
Within my rotations, the team leaders try there best to give us work but most of the time its the same job i will be doing during the rotation, sometimes i will help out on odd jobs and learn something new.
Can get a bit repetitive when Im doing the same job everyday but other than that i do enjoy coming into work, everyone is friendly and happy to help
At the start of the apprenticeship it wasnt structered well and there was very little communication, its now gotten better but most of the team leaders arent expecting an apprentice to join them so sometimes wont have much work for us to complete
To start with there was very little support and we were sort of forgotten about but starting the second year it has changed and we are receiving more support
The new college is a lot better compared to the college we first started at. We have had a great amount of support from the tutors and they are always happy to help
So far i have not used anything i have learned from college at work as the areas i have been in so far it is not needed but i think it will come in useful in the future
There are plenty of extra-curricular activities that i could get involved in but i haven't joined any yet
