My role on a day to day consists of checking emails and being involved in projects where you are working with a customer who gives you tasks to complete and also gives you the feedback on your the products, which can improve testing my product in future iterations improving products
Yes, I have learned many new skills like how to read and write to a database without connecting to it through SQL but rather by binding it to a C# class AppDbContext and being able to use that in each of my Repository's to make changes to the database frequently.
I enjoy it thoroughly, everyone is patient and lovely and allow you to get on with your own work while also giving you their time if you are stuck and need any help. I love doing the work I do mainly so I can see a result in problem solving.
My programme is organised and structure really well, they have set up all the documentation at the beginning and PETA allow for you to onboard quite easily by giving you a place to go if you need to complete any apprentice work and also courses about basic fundamentals for software.
I receive a ton of support from my employer via the benefits of the programme and among other things having the ability to talk with multiple people in a similar job role to my own to understand and become more progressive in my understanding of tech and IT software development.
As much as you will need, they give you multiple days beforehand so that work that is needed to be done can get done in time, and they also provide time blocks for people who have missed their deadlines. They are also very good at explaining exactly what BCS Want.
I feel it helps me to perform better in my role as not only am i writing about the work that I get up to in my role but it also means I don't have to recap on older projects as i am having to write about them anyways
Yeah there are work social activities to get involved in, I was thinking that I wanted to get more active and improve my overall fitness so I wanted to get involved in a football team so that I could get to know the office life more and know more faces
Yes
I would recommend Lockheed Martin to a friend if they are interested in the kinds of areas Lockheed offers while also wanting to improve their skill and learning all in one place. The office allows for a free shared space for all employees and is very inviting to new people
I would suggest that if you are confident about the work you have done previously and are passionate about the role you are applying for then you shouldn't worry about needing tips or advice as they are looking for the best of the best so have confidence in that.
