Assistant Underwriter. I assist with the general underwriting process alongside senior underwriters on my team. This involves helping with all relevant underwriting tasks that help assess the level of risk.
I have learnt new and developed existing skills. These involve learning new networking skills internally and externally, and also improving on excel.
I enjoy my programme a lot and appreciate all support provided

I receive lots of support from my employer who have a dedicated team to assist with any issues/ questions I have.
I receive lots of support from my training provider in relation to working towards our qualifications. These involve 1 to 1 calls, work sheets and online workshops to help revise.
I feel the qualification helps me perform better in my role as I now understand further more about the insurance market and also key terminology i wouldn't of known before.
