Yes. I’ve learnt a lot of accountancy and excel skills which have caused me to be more efficient in my job. I’ve also improved my communication skills through working in a team on a construction project. Everyone contributed in different ways to achieve the same goal.
I do enjoy my programme. Working towards a degree and having on site experience gives the best of both worlds and I believe i’m receiving a good level pf experience to help me progress in my career as a Quantity Surveyor.
This is structured very well as they provide and academic calendar of when you go to college/university for your block. Therefore, you know when you are on site and when you are at college/university.
I receive a lot pf support on site and in college/university. They check up on my progress and if I have any issues or queries they are more than happy to help.
Great level of support. I feel I can talk to them whenever I have a problem or don’t understand something fully.
I feel the qualifications will help eventually provide more opportunities in my career as I will be more qualified.
Yeah 5 a side football once a week. Also people from work go to the gym which you can go in groups with.
Yes
It’s a good structured apprenticeship to help achieve a fully qualified employee. Great range of projects which help an employee receive a good level of experience.
Be willing to move away from home. Try and work well in a team as a construction project is all about working in a team with a variety of different people to achieve an overall goal.
