So i get to book holidays for customers with all wants and needs. I then also track my accomplishments and assignments using Smart Assessor which is then used for my end point assessments before i finish.
I have developed more selling skills than i have ever had before, and i have developed more as a person
I do enjoy my programme on the selling side, obviously assignments have their boring downsides but they need to be done in order to pass my qualification
My programme is organised and is structured in a way where i have a finish date. Obviously some complete it before then, but it always you to be flexible to some extent
I receive a lot of support form my employer, this can be different for to others but what works in my store is that we are given set says to do our apprentice work and it allows us to be on track
Maria my apprentice coach is very supportive and understanding when it comes to help and the apprentice work
I gain knowledge that i wouldnt get from off the street about the industry and destinations that i wouldnt of thought of.
We get to have face to face meetings every 12 weeks were all the apprentices in the region get together and we share feedback and have training session to build our skills and knowledge
Yes
For someone who has always wanted to work in the industry and TUI, i absolutely love it. Their programmes and ethics are much better than other travel agents you will find.
Be patient, we are a very fast paced business and a very popular place people would love to work for.
