The delivery, organisation, and creation of various Retail Leadership Programmes. Programmes consist of both operational and leadership training from supervisors to store managers.
Since being on apprenticeship I have learnt many new training delivery skills, how to create more engaging content, being more resilient, and overall what good L&D should look like.
I enjoy the programme immensely - going into the role I was excited about being given an opportunity for a qualification. I love learning and putting it all into practice; I have seen a big change in myself.
The programme is structured and organised well. The role is demanding and the apprenticeship is structured well around the role. Training calls are always booked in advance & scheduled around our common training delivery days.
Support overall is average. Because the job is demanding, I have often felt pulled away from apprenticeship assignments or learning new things to go towards weekly hours.
MBKB has offered fantastic levels of support. Whenever there has been challenging times, my apprenticeship tutor is very understanding and willing to work with you to complete assignments or hours.
The apprenticeship has shown me what Learning & Development should be and with that perspective, I have the ability to give delegates a better "service". I have the skills to deliver more effective training which is producing more knowledgable leadership.
There are often activities surrounding our head office however as I am field based, I do not get the opportunity to participate. I also live away from head office too.
