To get the opportunity to complete a Degree alongside my full-time employment is something I'll be forever grateful to Cummins for. I am thoroughly enjoying my time throughout the program so far.
Sheffield Hallam is an excellent training provider, and is organized and structured well. The University has frequent meetings with my Line-Manager tracking the progress of my development.
Cummins allow me 1-day a week to go to Sheffield, as well as frequent meetings with the University tracking my Apprenticeship development. Cummins also allow me to work overtime to ensure the work required still gets completed across 4 days instead of 5.
Support is solid from the University, offering plenty of emails and support lines where required. They understand the demands of working full-time alongside the Degree.
My role is not as advanced as the Degree, but has certainly helped me understand the roles across Cummins that I'd like to do in the near future.
