We have bi-monthly meetings to discuss work progress.
The main benefit was the awareness of health and safety/machining processes, I feel that 99% of my personal progression/development has come from on site experience.
Yes, there are many social/community events that we can get involved in. Some examples include: Sporting activities, community volunteering, interesting car days.

Great place to work, i don't feel micromanaged and have the ability to shape my own career with lots of training opportunities. I really enjoy the flexible office working hours also.
