Conducting investigations on transactions. Managing the inbox and dealing with queries from the business internally. Help train departments on regulations and policies. Work alongside specialized individuals for that subject area.
Creating and drafting legal documents in a practical environment. Time management and meeting tight deadlines under pressure for projects that require a quick turn around. Collaborating and networking to bring new ideas to the table to help the business. Emotional intelligence in understanding how individuals work and operate.
I 100% enjoy the level 6 programme, that there is many things to do and opportunities. Either being at Christie's or in the apprenticeship side. Being able to learn on the job in a specialized subject and study brings everything together
Alongside the day to day work, you will have a set time to complete coursework and attend workshops set by the apprenticeship. You will also complete exams that is accredited from an international organisation related to the specialized industry.
A lot of support, when you enter as an apprentice you are apart of a co-hort of 10 - 20 people starting out in the same position as yourself. They will give you the time and opportunities to complete studying and open you network to opportunities.
1-2-1 monthly catch ups. Every 3 months a review with your line manager to assess your progress and what you need to develop as an apprentice. They will give you guidance on areas of improvement and how to get better in your role.
My qualification is directly linked to what i do in my day to day. From this i am able to utilize my knowledge learned practically and understand why we follow certain procedures and policies.
There is always more to do, last year i was apart of the charity football event where we raised funds for our charity of the year. There is groups within Christie's who will host events around topics of conversation, in these events you will meet new people.
Yes
Unique compared to other businesses. That not 1 day is the same as the next. See masterpiece's of art work that may never be seen again. Colleagues are friendly, welcoming and want you to succeed.
Be yourself. Be open minded to embrace something different. Enthusiasm and willingness to be there and learn. Ask for feedback if it does not work out. Smile and embrace the challenges put in front of you. Don't be afraid to ask for help and guidance.
