Running jobs, cost management, budgeting, dealing with subcontractors, understanding and reading contracts, assisting site managers and the site teams, pricing jobs.
A lot of number skills, social skills and developed my knowledge about the role overall. Learning on the job has worked really well for me.

A lot we are assigned mentors/senior QS who assists when needed.
A lot- can have study days if needed and are given study weeks for block releases sometimes.
It is more knowledge based but is good to learn and need to know it.
