I am currently the lead QS on my own project within our framework with Thames Water. Responsibilities and role involve commercial management, subcontract management, contractual management, and liaising with the client.
I have learnt and developed a range of skills, job related and life related, throughout my career so far with JN Bentley, as they consistently support me in my career and personal development.
I enjoy my apprenticeship programme as it allows me to put my skills to work whilst also getting qualified for these skills, and vice versa. The programme is well structured and allows me to be efficient with my Uni/Work responsibilities.
Well organised and well structured, allows time to develop understandings of new content, or to develop on knowledge that i already attain.
A great amount of support. From my line manager, through to the learning and development team, everyone is invested in helping me improve and develop.
I receive as much support as i require from my training provider. Help is there if i request it, but they are also comfortable letting me work towards goals unaided if i want to.
Completing a qualification whilst performing the job role is mightily beneficial. I get to put what i've learnt into practise almost instantly, and continue to develop skills/knowledge i may already have.
Yes, many team social events.
Yes
A great company to work for: the ethos, the people, the management, the benefits etc. I am proud to work for JN Bentley and i am invested in the success of the company, similar to how they are invested into my success.
Try to stand out from the crowd by thinking outside of the box, but dont forget to do the basics well first.
