I look after children 0-4 by supporting them with feeding, toileting and sleep. I observe and assess children alongside a curriculum to make sure they are ready for primary school.
I have learnt many skills as I started when I was 16 and I am now 18. Not only have I learnt how to look after children, to understand the curriculum and planning and implementing activities to support children of different age groups, I have learnt life skills like communicating with others and working on my weaknesess and managing my autism.
I love my programme and would reccomend it 100%
It is very well structered and seems very solid.
My employer is very supportive, we have regular check ins and reviews.
I feel very supported, my assessor makes sure I fully understand what I am doing and also sets extra challenges for me t complete to better myself
I have a in depth understanding of children development and this will support me throughout my career and when I go on to do higher levels

I have been supported the entire way through. Even when personal things happened, Realise were able to help me get back on my feet and gain confidence in my practise.
Put 100% in to it. The assessors want to help and will do as much as they can but you need to be meeting them halfway.
