Currently, I am tasked with manipulating data from internal and external clients, as well as responding to requests and queries via a group mailbox in my current team. I am also responsible for completing routine business tasks that are assigned to the team.
I have learnt further skills/techniques with the various Microsoft Office software packages available for the work tasks, as well as an ongoing learning experience with programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, and M.
The program itself is very engaging, with a support network available when needed, I also have the opportunity to collaborate with other apprentices during any training courses that are arranged over the period. My employer also offers support over the apprenticeship programme.
The programme is properly laid out, with a timeline of assignments that are set for us, with clearly defined deadlines. There is also documentation that explains the end-point assessment, to allow us to help structure out portfolios.
I receive a lot of support from my employer, whether it is from my immediate manager, or his manager, there is the opportunity to raise any topics when needed, as well as a support structure to help manage our job workloads and apprenticeship content.
I have received plenty of opportunities to gain support from my training provider, as well as guidance when needed as to what I need to improve on certain assignments. There is also the opportunity to be informed about optional training courses related to the course content.
I believe it will help to make my daily tasks within my roles run more efficiently, as well as give me an understanding of certain aspects of the work placements that I will be rotating through.
There are opportunities to get involved with organised volunteering events, sports teams, networking events, social activities and also career fairs.
