I shadow engineers on site and engineers in sales. I work on a Demo box to help me to learn about the software. I have also backed up devices.
I have learnt about different protocols and I have been able to apply what I have learnt to the demo box. I have learnt alot from the training especially electrical but I haven't been able to apply it to my job role yet.
I enjoy the different training. Such as electrical awareness, eco struxure training and ladder training. My placement lacks some structure as there is only two days that I am on site and then the rest of the week I am never sure what I will be doing.
It is structured to some extent as there is training throughout. However my placement lacks structure as I only have two days on site a week
I receive a lot of support as we have someone who over sees all the apprentices. I feel like they take on feedback and improve things based on this and are supportive. I do however feel I could have had more support in my placement as my team is new to having an apprentice and I am not on site enough.
I receive quite a lot of support as they are receptive to feedback. However sometimes they focus on coursework that is not due instead of focusing on coursework that is.
I am fairly new. I have not yet studied anything that I have used in my role. There are electrical modules coming up however
I meet up with other apprentices when I am doing training or uni. I am part of a committee that organizes online social events. There are no social events in person however for all apprentices
Yes
It is a great company to work for with lots of different opportunities
research the company and the job role in detail. Ask about the type of projects that you will be working on.
