Attending daily standups, doing design work and iterations for tickets I've been assigned. Attending 1to1s, meetings and sometimes helping out with research sessions.

Often will have to ask or find work
There are sometimes lectures and seminars that the company put on but because a lot of the team and company are off-shore or in different parts of the country it is hard to do something like this.
Yes
It's a great place to work with amazing HR and systems in place. I have learnt a lot from my mentors and buddies and there is a supportive attitude to new colleagues.
Look up the position before hand and try and learn about some of the tools they might use on a day to day basis.
