As an apprentice I move around a variety of different teams within the Accounts Department covering both the accounts receivable and accounts payable divisions. My role is to spend around 2-3 months with each team assisting them in their daily tasks.
I have developed on my communication skills, liaising with various professionals each day both internally and externally.
I enjoy my programme a lot as it provides a good balance of learning in practice and learning through my training provider.
The structure is very well organised. I have set rotation times and when one rotation is done, I move onto the next seamlessly.
My employer is very helpful as always there if I need her. She will always provide me support and check in with me.
My training provider is very helpful. I can always ask a question whenever I am unsure of something and an answer will always be provided.
There is a great correlation between what I lean from the training provider and what I use in role and it definitely gives me a better understanding of what i'm doing
There are many clubs and social events to take part in and competitions throughout the year to look forward to.
Yes
Because I feel it is the better alternative to university and my friends that are like minded would want to explore that
To have confidence and trust the process.
