Yes. I had no idea what commercial insurance entailed and over the past year and a half I have learnt pretty much everything to support a Broker in placing new/reoccurring business.
I enjoy the programme. I like the challenge of learning hands on in an office and then learning a qualification too at the same time. It gives me that balance.
My programme is well structured with organised deadlines.
A lot. I receive 20% off-the-job and if things are quiet, I can prioritise my apprenticeship. Senior members also help me revise.
Lots. I have regular catch-ups with my training coach and he provides me with continuous support and guidance.
Very well. The Cert/DIP CII provides the foundation knowledge required to work in any insurance role!
