Assisting the dentist, preparing the surgery for the day, greeting patients and supporting their needs, complying with GDC principles, working together with your employees.
Yes, lots. All of the dental terminology, how to do all different types of treatment, how to deal with medical emergencies in the surgery, how to deal with nervous/difficult patients, all about how to safeguard an individual.
I enjoyed it very much.
I felt that my course was behind with the timing of learning each aspect. For example, learning about different types of instruments should be one of the first thing to learn as you are already working in the surgeries and are already seeing these things day in day out. I felt like the webinars could of been longer as sometimes there could of been a bit more time spent on certain topics, the tutor did very well to answer and go over these queries but more time could of been offered by TempDent.
I received lots of support, they gave me a study day to complete the work and offered more time in work hours if I needed extra support.
My tutor especially was very helpful, she was always there at the end of an email if I needed some help.
It has helped me to gain all the knowledge and skills I have to be the best in my role every day.
There are social activities that we do.
Yes
Because there is lots of opportunities to gain more skills or just maintain where you are now. There is lots of employee benefits too.
Go for it!
