How to use Machine Learning to make models for predictive reporting.
It was good to learn the actual academic principles behind things that I'd picked up through self-learning in the course of my job, prior to starting the apprenticeship. I knew how to do things before, now I understand why.
It was pretty good. I enjoyed the mix of personal preparation tasks, done in my own time, and group workshops at regular points in the course.
My managers were always supportive and made sure that I got enough time to carry out work for the apprenticeship, whilst still working on my main job.
It was nice to have a personal coach that I could contact at any time if I had any queries. They also provided a number of online seminars and workshops that were useful at times where I was struggling with specific topics.
I have much more confidence to talk about things now, especially to other people who work in more senior positions. Being self-taught to do a job is all well and good, but it's nice to know some of the proper terminology to use to get people to take you more seriously.
