An internal auditor is responsible for evaluating and assessing an organization's financial records, operational processes, and internal controls to ensure compliance, identify risks, and improve efficiency. We provide independent and objective assessments to help management make informed decisions and mitigate potential risks. Day-to-day this involves working with an audit team to complete the different stages of audit (planning, fieldwork, reporting) on different business areas.
Improved communication, technical skills and knowledge of financial services.
Fairly enjoyable, there is a good working culture at M&G and the flexible working approach is nice.
Not great, the training provider (BPP) aren't very organised and their communication isn't great.
A good amount of support provided by employer. My line manager is very helpful and supportive in my day-to-day duties and with my training.
Support is there but communication isn't great and sometimes takes a while to hear back on queries and questions.
Not very well. The work forces me to recap on, and evidence, the work I do in my day job so I am rarely learning anything additional or new.
Yes, my team is often arranging social activities outside of work.
