A wide range of environmental consultancy roles across many infrastructure projects, predominantly within the UK.
Yes, mostly within organisation, time management and coordination but also a lot of technical knowledge within my field.
I have both a university led programme (the degree) and a company led apprentice training programme. Both of these work to build knowledge from the ground up but both assume a low initial knowledge of the covered topics which can feel less efficient in the early days.
The structure is clear and organised, giving me a good understanding of what I will be covering in the future and how one portion leads into another.
My employer provides a fantastic level of support, and there are regular check-ins from multiple individuals across the hierarchy to ensure I am well supported and enjoying what I do.
My training provider is always on hand to answer any questions I may have and continues to be supportive in this manner.
I feel my qualification is broadly related to the work I do, however there is of course not a complete overlap between curse and job role.
Yes, my office holds monthly networking events, runs many sports and social teams and partakes in the UK wide annual sports day!
Yes
It is a friendly and supportive place to work with a broad number of opportunities to get involved in a wide range of sectors. It is clear that the company does not only care about the bottom line and profit made, but invests in ensuring people are enjoying their work.
Be yourself and show your passion. This organisation cares as much about the individual as their qualifications and past experience.
