  • As a planner my days are very varied, some days involve developing Planning Design and Access statements while others are spent speaking to people and some are spent working with excel spreadsheets.

  • - Improved my Excel and word skills - Improved project management and communication skills - Learnt loads about the planning system both at work and at university

  • The programme has been great and I greatly enjoy the variety of work which I am involved in

  • Very well organised with time given to focus on university coursework

  • Great support with apprenticeship networks and support from colleagues when needed

  • Great support with support on both the academic side of things via my academic personal tutor and admin side through my tripartite meetings.

  • The knowledge which I learn from university has been very useful in helping to understand the planning process and help to submit applications

  • Yes

  • The company is very supportive with working weather that be chartership, flexible working etc...
