My role is Assistant Manager at Travis Perkins Burnley. I am responsible for leading a team in sales and safety within branch. My main role is sales but I am involved in safety aspects and people management.
I have learnt new skills and developed on existing ones. Mostly in regards to team management.
I enjoy the programme a lot. I would prefer more in person opportunities, and more stretcher activities in different areas in relation to my job role ie management accounts.
Very well organised. You know where you are at during every stage.
Fully encouraged by my employer to push myself during the course. Most support comes from my manager in branch.
Always available when needed so full support is available.
There are clear links between what I have done on my course and the tasks I have done in branch. I have had more exposure to management tasks in branch which has improved my people management skills in my role.
Networking events are available
Yes
Good place to work. Good opportunities.
