My role is to ensure children are receiving the best quality care whilst in a nursery. I ensure they are well fed and if they need dietary requirements, i change nappys, we sing songs, we play together, i help with their coats and encourage independance in getting themselves ready.
I have learned how to ensure children are kept safe, how to interact with them, how to change pullups.
I really enjoy it as it has given me the opportunity to see the world through a smaller persons perspective, it has also allowed me to learn about childrens development which i find interesting.
It is very organised, i have been given set times and dates for webinars and professional discussions.
I receive alot of support as i know my employer is always there to help, i know i can always ask for help or support when i am unsure of what to do
I have received some support as i always know what to do. The tasks are always easy to follow and clear.
The qualification gives me a better insight into childrens development and their little world. Without learning the knowledge and getting my qualification, i dont think id have the knowledge behind in what children do.
