We are provided the training and resources through both theoretical and practical learning, so that we can obtain a license to work on aircraft. We are responsible for passing our modular exams, we attend lectures in the form of block module teaching, which is accompanied by working on our basic hand-skills in the college hangar.
Since starting this apprenticeship, i have improved on my hand-skills, become a better communicator, and have built on my prior knowledge of aircraft.
It has a clear structure and is well planned out.
We receive a lot of support from our employers, through our managers and through the company as a whole
CAVC is a great training provider, we receive a copious amount of support when it is needed from our lecturers, Cardiff and vale college is very accommodating and always try to provide the best training possible.
Without the training provided i would not be able to do my job competently which is crucial in aviation.
Yes, In the college, we have a games area, basketball court, table tennis. Professional networking events such as open days are organized with our employer and with our training provider,
