Training in a protected environment, learning basic hand skills and completing the UK CAA exams, in order to be qualified to work on aircraft on the on job training.
I have learnt a lot so far, most of the knowledge has been taught by the letururers following UK CAA guidelines. we have also been taught hand skills like wire locking and riveting.
I really enjoy the content being taught on this apprenticeship as well as practical tasks. it is made more enjoyable by my peers
The programme is extremely well structured as the UK CAA set out a minimum required time in class in order to pass the course.
I receive alot of support from my lecturers and also my manager as well. if i have any issues what so ever i can reach out to either my lecturers or my manager and it will be dealt with accordingly.

We had had an awards ceremony for previous cohorts and have opportunities to participate in stem activities.
