Analysing plausible but extreme risk scenarios for a variety of financial risk taxonomies to contribute to capital allocation and reporting in line with Basel 3 legislation
Yes. Learned more about regulation/regulatory environment through ICA qualification element
Enjoyed ICA qualification elements and instructor led training sessions but found the support provided by apprenticeship scheme lacking and apprenticeship specific learning elements of less value
Structured clearly and ICA assignments were well organised but very little direction with apprenticeship elements. Little support preparing for EPA and certificates repeatedly sent to wrong location after course so had to chase up repeatedly.
Line manager was very supportive and tools from company in place to allow me to enhance knowledge/experience to progress my career. This resulted in 2 promotions into my desired field
Regular meetings but these rarely focussed on the subject of my course. Too much emphasis on the british values distracted from the course with little value added. Very little support preparing for EPA and certificates not received for some time after completion with repeated chasers
Very well. Before completion I successfully obtained a promotion in a relevant department and since then have had a further promotion
