My team is responsible for the maintenance of IIS Web Servers, providing Incident and Change management and performing certificate renewal
Yes I have expanded my knowledge of computing, networking and coding and am going to expand that further into cloud computing
It is a friendly atmosphere and they are keen for me to progress and be happy
We are trialing something new with our training provider this year which NatWest is accommodating for by allowing us to dedicate more time to that than our work. THe balance of that shall be shifting soon
More than enough
Not enough, their contact is infrequent and often last minute, occasionally late
What we have learned so far is very broad and not specific to my role there fore only part of it is strictly relevant to me. That said we are learning some things which we have absolutely no need of such as Azure
There are many social clubs and gatherings listed on Engage, I just have not engaged with them a lot myself
Yes
Good atmosphere, far less stress than my previous job, they want you to advance and achieve your own goals not just theirs and they are very flexible when it comes to in office at home working. Also they pay decently with a scope for much higher pay in a qualified role
Do it, you might not necessarily get put into the most ideal role for you but there is always scope for you to move and advance your career once you are in
