My day to day role is fix faulted cables to get customer's back onto supply, using specific procedures that are carried out to standard and are done safely.
I've learnt lots of new skills like joining cables and how the network works and built on my team working skills and taking personal responsibility to solve problems.
I enjoy being out in the field working with the teams as I'm in a new environment everyday with a new problem to solve and I enjoy the banter amongst colleagues .
I think it has be well organised as I've gotten a taster of all the different aspects of the course and there is enough time given to complete set tasks.
I feel well supported as I feel I can ask anything and they do what the can in there power to satisfy my problems.
I felt that I have received great training as I feel confident in my work that I'm doing so that I am safe.
It gives me a better scope of knowledge so that I can have a better understanding of why I am doing the job that I am.
To my knowledge I am not aware of an extra curricular activities.
Yes
As it is a company that cares and invests in there employees to succeed in there roles. There are also great opportunities to progress and earn a decent living.
I recommend asking lots of questions and getting involved in each aspect of the course as its a huge benefit to you completing the course, which will lead to other people wanting to help you achieve your goals.
