I have learnt many skills whilst being in the role, as I have progressed through the apprenticeship and upwards I have developed on these skills and become a more all rounded QS
I enjoy it thoroughly, everyone is really nice, I always have plenty of work to be getting on with and can always rely on others to advise or guide me in the right direction if I encounter something new.
The QS pathway is well structured but I do feel there’s a lot of titles compared to other companies
If asked I will receive all the support I need, the key is to ask though and not stay quiet about something you are struggling with
As we are on block release and dealing with work in between it’s difficult to stay in the qualification zone when daily work life is piling up! But they are supportive when called upon
I don’t take a lot of what we learn in college through to my normal job.
Yes, many social nights out and bamathon teams to join!
Yes
Yes, very good pay for apprenticeships and can work all over the country.. earning and learning at the same time is the way forward.
Be yourself. If you don’t know something don’t act like you do because people don’t mind helping, just need to ask!
