  • I work as a contracts manger which involves managing the in life associated contracts , customer relationship management, invoicing and payment tracking and budgeting and budget control.

  • Managing budgets, project management skills and knowledge, process improvement

  • I am enjoying the programme and the opportunity to learn and develop my skills and behaviours.

  • It is fairly structured with a few inconsistencies along the way i.e. teaching inconsistency between different lectures

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive a lot of support from my employer, my business area and my line manager to take time to develop myself and progress

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I receive support from my training provider, however at times I come away from discussions quite confused due to contradicting pieces of information provided to me, sometimes by the same person. I do not feel I received any help or support from the provider in relation to one of the exams taken when the exam itself is notoriously difficult to pass.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The qualification supports my role with knowledge gained that I can put into practice in a practical scenario. It has helped with terminology and understanding of why things are done the way that they are. It has also taken me out of my comfort zone to try new things.

  • There are a number of activities available if an individual wanted to get involved both for development and health and well being

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Great company to work for, I have worked for E.ON in varying roles across the business for the past 20 years and cannot see me leaving. The role I am currently in fits my skill set perfectly and the team that I work with couldn't be better. I feel I am treated fairly and with respect and am valued by the business for what I do. The business value learning and improvement and encourage staff to develop.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to E.ON?
  • To understand E.ONs values and the strategy the business is working towards. Take advantage of every opportunity to develop as it is there for you to embrace.
