Helping to receipt any payments that come into us from clients who have purchased from us and providing help to account managers in the team in ensuring we receive payments from all buyers for each sale.
I have learnt lots of new skills in regards to the finance and accounting world as this is all very new to me and has helped my apprenticeship learning a lot, I have also developed others skills like communication and team work.
I thoroughly enjoy the program as it has given me an opportunity to explore the industry that I wanted to go into and has opened my eyes to how a business operates financially.
It was very well structured in the way all apprentices from every department were set up with the induction week to begin with and then is well organised in my team as there are 3 of us apprentices who will rotate into different teams every 5 months.
I receive a lot of support from my employer whether that is in terms of people I can turn to if I ever have any problems or my line manager by having weekly catch ups with them and always feeling I can raise any problems to them.
I receive loads of support from Kaplan in studying for my apprenticeship as I have my own designated talent coach who I have regular meeting with every 6 months to make sure I am still on track and have lots of support I can get if I ever have any problems relating to my studying.
My studies have helped me a lot to perform better in my role as it has helped me to understand the company and the departments a lot more and I'm sure that it will continue to help me once I complete all my modules.
Yes we have social events for both our apprentice cohort and also for my department, we also had a charity football 5 a side tournament set up which was a lot of fun and there is regularly networking events after work called "Christie's Lates".
Yes
It is a company with a lot of history and is very big around the world, it gives you the platform to gain incredible experience of working for a prestigious company which will be very good for your cv and also to study for your apprenticeship at the same time.
I would suggest to have a look at the wide variety of apprenticeship roles they offer and decide what is best for you and what interests you the most, however you can always apply for more than one role and Christie's will try and see your best qualities and decide where you would fit in best.
