early years practitioner in a nursery ages 0-4, i am bases in baby room so on a daily basis i welcome the babies into nursery and have a handover with parents. throughout the day we provide different activities that that suit their development stage. we care for basic needs such as nappy changes, nutrition, bottles ect. provide outdoor time daily
Yes this is my first time working in childcare so I have learnt the whole EYFS, ILP, Observations and next steps. I also now have developed skills for SEN children and Children with behavioural needs. Further skills to be developed is my first aid which i have very soon
I have enjoyed this programme and haven't found it stressful despite my assessor changing throughout but i am very happy with my new assessor, she is super helpful and on the ball to complete everything ready for my end date! I like having my Non ratio and being able to complete the work indepedently
Throughout I think it has been very organised, I get set a unit, i complete it, send it back and if it suitable it gets uploaded. When my assessor changed she has been super organised completing and sorting out bits my old assesser missed out so it has been alot better!
Lots, they are always willing to support me and offer my non ratio when i need it! During my qualification when needed help i have been able to ask for it and recieved it!
Enough, throughtout my qualification when needing support i have been able to contact via email/whatsapp for support. There' not much else they could've done to support me further
Realise use onefile which is super helpful when seeing your tasks that need to be completed and what stage of your qualification you're at.
so we have social activities - christmas party, summer party and other social events we have no sports team or networking events that I am aware of
Yes
very organised. supportive. One file is a great way for all parties involved to be on the same page
when needing help don't struggle just ask for help. when you get to grips with one file its super helpful. when completing units search the questions into google and some helpful websites come up!
