Yes, the support from my NVQ so far has development my people management skills and how I interact with staff during difficult situations regarding practice and standards
The way the course has been designed has given me the ability to stop and start at my own pace, being a mother of two young children and working full time it was important I would be able to balance my learning into my already busy life. my course leader is able to communicate freely with me and offer reviews/catch up meetings to suit my needs
So far the programme has flown smoothly from topic to topic, building skills and confidence in understanding how these new skills can be implemented into my work place.
Employer is very supportive, they understand how this course will not only benefit myself but the school as well, with well planned meetings the school are able to support me having time out to attend. Also show a good support with offering advise and guidance when learning new things, senior staff will give tips and words of wisdom
High level of support my mentor is brilliant, she is easy to contact and understands everyday problems come up, happy to work inline with busy life style.
