I work in the Central Marketing team to promote new programs.
I am always learning new skills from shortcuts in Office to stakeholder communication and project management.
I really enjoy learning and have loved having immediate practical applications for the information I receive in my course. I also enjoy the opportunities to learn from colleagues and shadow other departments.
The programme is well structured but it can be hard to navigate a way to ensure that I am getting relevant experience to pass assignments. Luckily I have a very supportive manager who is happy to help facilitate my learning.
The office environment is very supportive and everyone is always happy to answer questions.
I have regular check-in meetings, my mentor is always reachable by email for questions and support and the online lessons and coursework is easy to access and schedule.
I love the wide variety of topics I get to cover and it helps me be informed of the wider marketing environment and make better sense of things that arise day-to-day.
There are wonderful ERGs and things like screenings, talks and learning weeks.
