My role is to support the Human Resources team with responding to email, queries, shadowing meetings, and learning! I also help out the Health and Safety team with queries and auditing.
Yes I have learnt a range of new skills and have developed on the skills I already have. An example would be communication skills and being able to voice my opinion, talk with a range of people, and raise questions.
Although I have only just started, I am enjoying my programme to a large extent. I love learning new things.
Very structured - I already have review meetings booked for April 2025! A clear pathway to the end point assessment.
I regularly have one-ones with my manager, and I actively receive support on a day-to-day basis from my colleagues.
Whilst I have only just started, I have already received lots of support from my training provider. She has scheduled in our 1-1s meetings already, and responds very quickly to my emails.
For me to progress in HR, a Level 3 qualification will help me do so. Also I can actively apply what I learn on the course to my day-to-day activities working in HR.
There are a few occasional extra-curricular activities, but this is something in the future I would like to increase.
