Supporting children in the lessons on a 1:1 basis or in small groups and helping the class teacher with any necessary preparations for the lesson, eg preparing materials, printing and photocopying, as well as playtime and lunch duties.
have learnt new strategies in helping learners to engage in the class and motivate them with their learning, as well as behaviour management strategies.
The programme has so far increased my knowledge and confidence in my role as a teaching assistant.
