My role involves working with distributors to improve their online presence. I produce newsletters and have taken ownership of our transactional 'weekly comms'.
My technical skills have improved in my role. Using excel to present data such as customer metrics is a recurring task.
I love my role, I believe the university/work balance is ideal and if I require more time for university assignments, my manager is very understanding.
The structure and organization of my program is very clear. For example, Wednesday and Friday afternoons are dedicated to lectures and other Uni work and we have two on campus days per term.
I receive constant support from my employer, even though I'm encouraged to be independent with my work, I know I can always ask for help when needed
I receive a lot of support from my lecturers who have office hours whereby you can arrange a call with them. My Coach is also very helpful and we have monthly meeting and a tripartite review every three months with my manager.
A lot of what I learn in my lectures is applied to my everyday work, for example knowing about customer journeys and the P's of marketing.
I have engaged in some apprenticeship events and monthly quizzes hosted by the apprenticeship committee.
Yes
There are so many opportunities available so I believe there is something for everyone. The company core values are also a key reason for my recommendation as they create such a positive work environment.
Be yourself in your interview and make sure you research the company prior to your application.
