The main part of my role is running month end reporting for various parts of the business.
I have learnt new things regarding the technical side of my role. I learnt about data and the different types, also about architecture.
i am enjoying the programme as I am finding out about subjects that I had very little knowledge about.
The programme is well structured and is progressing in linear way, starting with basic concepts and then building on these.
I receiving support from my employer. I am having a day per week for training (including in this the actual course).
I receive a lot of support from my training provider, I have a monthly 121 with my mentor, so I can raise any concerns or questions. Also, the teachers are very supportive.
It gives me a wider perspective of how the data team functions so therefore it gives me the tools to know where to go for answers to questions or how to solve issues myself.
There are some but I don't tend to get involved in them.
Yes
It is a good company to work for as seems genuinely interested in supporting its employees in their learning and career progression.
I don't have any tips or advise to be honest.
