My role is to supervise the housekeeping team. I ensure brand standards are met and that all health and safety regulations are adhered to.
I have learned the different styles of management and how to utilise them in my job role.
I enjoy it very much. It has developed my confidence levels and I feel it has made me more comfortable in my job role
It’s very well organised. I have had regular meetings with my trainer and there are lots of activities to complete online
My employer encourages me and is very good at helping me find time to complete topics
My training provider is very encouraging. They offer virtual classrooms for topics that I need extra help with.
I think without it I wouldn’t feel confident enough to lead a team.
There are not often social activities but I have been invited to events where there are many people from different sites so I can network with them

As an employer they really encourage staff to take on an apprenticeship and want people move up in their career
