  • Further understood Structural Engineering as well as BIM - typically it's either one or the other but have received knowledge in both.

  • It's insightful however can be extremely difficult with a 9-5

  • It is quite coursework heavy, which is difficult when working a 9-5. However the modules flow into eachother nicely.

  • If I need it I can ask for it, no questions asked.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Revision dates, assistance in coursework and understanding modules is always available. However this is situational depending on project deadlines.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Definitely increases my understanding in the sector, but if you want to be specific to BIM, it's maybe not entirely necessary.

  • Multiple, frequently.

  • Yes

  • Great place for starting off your career and getting essential information and resources.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Arup?
  • Slow down and take in as much as you can, don't rush your progression.
