  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • The programme has a good balance between theory and practice, it is led by a professional team. I can learn, test and reflect on learnings in my day-to-day job and see significant improvements within my team. My team is becoming more mature, taking ownership and empowered. Few members of my team progressed in higher roles.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It has a good flow from self-awareness, basic skills, to more complex organisation strategy topics. It never felt that it is too easy or too overwhelming, which shows we, as learners, are in the right optimal learning zone. The way tasks are organised allows to prepare for each topic, then reflect on it, and then embed the knowledge in practice.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I am very fortunate to have a supportive line manager and organisation that values learning. My time, all costs and any additional expenses are covered without any issues. My progress is continuously monitored and celebrated within the organisation. I am looking forward to demonstrate a good return on investment and loyalty to my company.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Currently I receive training, regulars supervisions, and progress reviews from Crosby team. Additionally I am supported by Jardine's talent development team. I think the way course is structured, it provides me enough of feedback and support to work my way through the course. At any point so far I felt overwhelmed or not knowing what to do next.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I can already see results. I grew much stronger as a manager. I stopped being perfectionist and micromanager. I believe my team started feeling results of this change. Each person feels more empowered, takes ownership and innovates. It was reflected in company's employee survey and was raised a very positive feedback at my end of year review.

  • Jardine Motors Group has various additional initiatives that employees can enroll to. I am a member of company's Wellbeing Committee. I participate in various awareness days events, i.e. we had EDI days, LGDP+ community events. As a part of my role I also try to expand my knowledge of different business areas and participate in conferences outside my remit.
