1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I assess and process payments, account and measure project costs and progress inline with forecasts, produce accruals on a monthly basis for the following month, draft instructions and orders and assist with procurement of labour, materials and subcontractors.

I have developed a range of skills within accounting and finance within the context of construction processes

I enjoy my role and the projects I have worked on so far

4. How well organised/structured is your programme?

The structure is organised well as we attend uni on a block release basis which helps me to separate my academic work from my roles and responsibilities on site

My employers are always there to support when they are required

6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I receive all the support required when working on my studies during uni blocks

7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

There are some parts that are relevant and help you to understand processes at work better than you would had you not completed a module in it but there are also aspects of our course which don’t relate to my job role

There are sports clubs available at the college

Yes

I would highly recommend the apprenticeship to anyone wanted to join the civil engineering / construction industry

Make you sure you put across the skills you have that would help you to perform in the role
