Generally I would in a morning go take a permit out and the get on with a variety of maintenance tasks such as lighting maintenance, pump maintenance or sometimes installation of equipment such as lighting.
I learnt lots of new skills, how to use tools and test equipment, how to be safe and keep other safe, I also learnt about maintenance techniques and best practices.
I very muhyc enjoyed my prgramme adn was very happy with the amount of knowledge that I learnt as well as the development of my own personal skills.
The programme was very well laid out as we had the first year fully at college to learnt the basics before going out onto site for the remaining two years of the apprenticeship.
I received lots of support from my employer whenever needed.
I received whatever was needed, for me I needed guidance on writing my reports but once advised it was fine and not much else was required.
I think that my training has helped me massively as it has enabled me to become more aware of what is aarround me and the healthy and safety policies that I am required to follow.
