Collating data on complaints and remediation and analysing this to establish if there are any training needs within the business. Putting together training material (guides). CRM SME and designing and building processes. Data collation for presentations within senior management meetings.
Undertaking a Learning Needs Analysis and understanding if there is a true learning need. Gathering and analysing data to support a learning needs intervention. Different techniques for design and delivery of training. Getting engagement and input from stakeholders within the organisation. Realising how a SWOT and PESTLE can support me in my role within the L&D function.
I really enjoy the workshops where the cohort are feeding off each other and sharing ideas.
At the beginning of the programme it seemed to be all over the place. I did not understand why we where learning about specific topics at that point and not later so I feel more work is needed there. Preparation ahead of the programme was good and the learning pathway was shared so enabled me to manage my diary.
My line manager is extremely supportive and regularly catches up with me on how I am progressing. I am free to manage my own diary and complete my apprenticeship work.
I am able to reach out to my coach at any point and they will talk me through any concerns I have or provide me with guidance if I am struggling. I have regular reviews with my coach where we discuss the areas that I've grown in and how I've grown.
It has given me a more defined structure when looking at potential learning interventions and given me the confidence to challenge the organisation and stakeholders when being asked to deliver training. I now have the tools to do a true learning needs analysis and design and deliver a learning intervention in a way that is of benefit to the organisation
