As a Modern Apprentice for TUI, my day to day roles are providing customers with the highest service, I'm fairly new to the company so i have been welcoming customers on the Welcome Desk, shadowing colleagues and completing all my training.
I've learnt loads while working for TUI for just under 3 months. It's brought out my confidence when talking to customers. I've also learnt a lot more about different destinations as per my training. I've learnt about Foreign Currency/Exchange rates and Selling Insurance.
I'm really enjoying my Apprenticeship. I wake up every day eager to work, knowing i'll be meeting new people and seeing friends.
It's extremely well organised. I have a coach, who i contact all the time, vise versa as well as organising formal reviews and casual catch up's over Teams.
A lot of support. Everyone is lovely, there is always someone i can go to for help and they'll never decline.
Like i stated above, i have a coach for my Apprenticeship, we meet every few weeks over Teams.
Hopefully when i finish my Apprenticeship i will have received good grades. After achieving this i can become a fully qualified Travel Agent.
YES, there's loads, i'm involved in some myself. TUI book club, I'm also interested in the running group and i'm eager to take part in a Charity support day (A day, in which i choose to volunteer for a company where i still get paid from my company)
Yes
TUI really care about their staff, it's been one of the best companies I've worked for so far in my career. There's lot's of things us, as staff can get involved in.
Be yourself. Everyone i work with is unique and i love it, it makes me feel i can just be myself when i'm at work.
